Renowned for her pioneering work in the development of anti-racist museum practices, Dr. Morgan's contributions have actively shaped inclusive and equitable approaches to curation, community engagement, and education. Her commitment to training museum professionals and emerging curators on a global scale underpins her passion for creating spaces within the arts that honor and represent the experiences of communities of color.

Having earned her doctorate in African American Studies with a commitment to visual cultures of the African Diaspora, Dr. Morgan's academic and professional journey reflects a deep-seated investment in the power of cultural arts education. Currently leading the Black Artists Archive as its Founding Executive Director, she not only preserves the rich history of Black art but galvanizes future generations through the intersection of archival scholarship and practical museology. Her continued engagement with students in our course is an embodiment of her lifelong dedication to the vital role that African American museums play as pillars of cultural arts education.
